PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Despite the cold weather, many people lined the streets of downtown Pikeville Saturday.
An annual Christmas parade kicked off a fun evening on Main Street.
After the parade, UPIKE's "Tuba Christmas" played music at the bottom of the "99".
The East Kentucky Expo Center also hosted a Christmas Craft Bazaar.
Pikeville Main Street Director Minta Tremble says even on cold days, there are many things to do downtown.
"We had dancers and carolers and fire trucks decorated. It was just an awesome time for everyone to get out, be downtown, and walk around and watch the parade," said Tremble.
Tremble says next year they hope to make the parade even bigger.
