Dolly Parton makes a stop in Pigeon Forge for latest movie
Dolly Parton was in town Pigeon Forge Thursday night to film for her latest movie.
The film hits TV screens in just a few weeks.
Our sister station WVLT
production teams brought the cameras and the lights for "A Christmas at Dollywood" that was inspired by one of the movie's actors, Danica McKellar.
"A Christmas at Dollywood" features Dolly with some of the scenes being filmed in East Tennessee.
The rain did not stop Dolly from taking the time to say thank you to the actors and the extras who were out in the cold.
The movie has already been mostly shot in Vancouver, but Thursday night was the finishing touches with the Dollywood scenes.
The Christmas movie is on the Hallmark Channel and is set to air the first of December.
