(WYMT) - A doctor had his license to practice in Kentucky suspended after he was charged for having sex with a teen girl.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports Ashu Joshi had his license suspended after an emergency order by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure.

From court documents, we learned investigators accuse Joshi of telling a Kentucky teen to send him explicit photos and videos.

Facebook flagged the images and sent them to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, Joshi is also accused of taking a teen to Missouri from Kentucky to have sex.

The criminal complaint against Joshi was filed in Missouri federal court.

Joshi started working in Missouri about two years ago but had previously worked in Kentucky.
