Disturbance complaint in Laurel Co. leads to man and woman behind bars

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - In Laurel County, deputies arrested two people involved in a disturbance complaint.

Deputies say they responded to the call off Evans Lane near London.

There they found 40-year-old Jeffery Callahan.

They say he had possible meth with him.

He is now facing a possession charge.

They also arrested 41-year-old Marilyn Mitchell. Deputies say she had outstanding warrants.

They say Mitchell was accused of theft of $500 or more but under $10,000, theft of identity of another without consent; fraudulent use of credit cards over $100 within a six-month period.

Both are being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
