CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Clay County deputies say they arrested two people on Friday for being under the influence. They also found drugs inside a home on the property where the two were arrested.
Deputies say they went to Crane Creek Road to serve a warrant for domestic violence. When they arrived, they found Ricky Gabbard, who appeared to be under the influence. Gabbard admitted to drinking alcohol. Rebecca Davidson showed up at the property and appeared to be under the influence, she said she had smoked meth.
Deputies searched the home and found bags of marijuana hidden inside a VCR. When taking her into the Clay County Detention Center, they also found what appeared to be marijuana on Davidson.
Gabbard was charged with alcohol intoxication, possession of marijuana, and wanton endangerment. Davidson was charged with public intoxication of a controlled substance and promoting contraband.
