Deputies arrest two women in church parking lot, find meth

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Deputies arrested two women after finding them with meth on Friday in Laurel County.

Deputies said that after investigating, they found two women with meth and needles in a church parking lot.

During the investigation, deputies said one of the women tried to run away but was quickly arrested.

Michelle Lavern Jordan was charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing or evading police.

Sherry N. Estep was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both women were taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
