LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A man was arrested after deputies said he was arrested for driving under the influence.
Laurel County Sheriff's deputies said Preston J. Walters, 19, of East Bernstadt, was arrested Friday just before 9 p.m.
They said they pulled Walters over on KY 490 after they said he weaved across the centerline.
Deputies said when they stopped Walters they smelled marijuana coming from the car. They said Walters told him he had smoked marijuana and possibly had meth in his system.
They said he had three glass pipes, a grinder, three scales and marijuana.
Walters was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence-first offense, improper equipment, failure to produce insurance card, trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
