Police tell WYMT an ambulance caught on fire in Cumberland Tuesday.

Cumberland Fire Department and Cumberland Police responded to the scene.

The Tran-Star ambulance caught fire on US 119 just south of the Tri-Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Traffic was stopped for a short time while crews responded but police say all traffic should be moving now.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Officials say the ambulance was not transporting anyone when it ignited. No one was hurt.
