Coroner: Elderly man found dead near brush fire in Clay County

The Clay County Coroner says an elderly man is dead after being found near a brush fire.
It happened around 5 p.m. on Matt Sizemore Road, near Manchester.
Coroner Danny Finley tells WKYT the victim is Thomas Brown. Finley says Brown was in his 80s, but is unsure of an exact age.
Finley tells WKYT Brown's body was found near a brush fire, but a cause of death is not yet known.
An autopsy will be performed in Frankfort on Monday.
Kentucky State Police are continuing the investigation.
