(WYMT) - Happy Friday! Warmer temperatures have been the main story today which is always a good sign. As we head into the weekend, we will feel the cooler temperatures finally arrive behind the cold front.
Lows tonight will drop down into the lower 30s with partly cloudy skies. Look for winds out of the west at 5-10 mph. We will hold onto an isolated sprinkle or drizzle chance later tonight.
The majority of the weekend looks dry but much colder. We'll see sun mixed with clouds on Saturday with highs only in the upper 40s to lower 50s. By Saturday night look for lows in the lower 30s with mostly clear skies.
Models continue to back off the rain chances Sunday and Monday which is great news. Look for highs to reach the lower 50s with partly cloudy skies on Sunday. I do think most rain chances will stay north and out of our coverage area.
Monday also looks a lot drier. Due to the latest trends, we have taken rain chances out on Monday as well with the best chances being east of our viewing area. Look for cooler temperatures to reach the upper 40s.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be warmer with highs in the low-mid 50s. I do think we see a brief rain chance late Wednesday night. More on that in the coming days.
For now, enjoy your weekend! Wear green and celebrate St. Patricks Day.
