Cold front brings cooler air for now, heat builds back in by midweek
Enjoy the next couple of days, because if you thought the last few days were warm, after Tuesday, all bets are off.
The cold front moved through Sunday night doing two things: One, it knocked our temperatures back a hair. It will also keep stray rain chances around early as it passes through.
Cloudy skies will start the morning before skies clear to sun this afternoon. Highs will top out in the upper 70s before dropping into the mid to upper 50s overnight.
Tuesday, we're still mild with sunny skies. Highs will again top out in the mid to upper 70s and lows will drop into the upper 50s and low 60s.
The heat wave moves back in for midweek and it's not going anywhere soon. Look for sunny and hot conditions from Wednesday all the way through the weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will feature a few more clouds. All days will feature a small rain chance and highs in the upper 80s and possibly getting to 90. Lows will be in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Remember to stay hydrated and keep the sunscreen handy all week long. Keep an eye on your children, pets and the elderly, starting Wednesday and heading toward the weekend.
