(WYMT) - We have one more day of warmer weather before another cold front moves into the mountains and brings chilly conditions back into the forecast.
Tonight and Tomorrow
We will see those partly cloudy skies as we head into the evening and overnight hours. Temperatures will remain warm with lows only dropping into the upper 50s to lower 60s overnight.
A mixture of sun and clouds continue into the day on Thursday with highs reaching the lower 80s once again. Clouds will increase throughout the evening and overnight hours as a cold front approaches late Thursday into Friday morning. We will see a few scattered chances late Thursday but the greatest chance will be Friday.
Your Good Friday forecast looks soggy throughout the mountains. Highs will reach the low to mid-60s early Friday morning with temperatures dropping throughout the day as the cold front swings through. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 40s. Some spots could easily drop into the mid to upper 30s.
A low-pressure system looks to track right over our region which will keep the soggy conditions in the mountains for Saturday. Highs will only reach the low 50s with overnight lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
The good news is by Easter Sunday southwesterly flow will return and bring 70s back into the mountains. It looks like the skies will clear as well. It'll be a perfect day for Easter egg hunting!
Dry and sunny conditions continue into the new work week. Highs look to be back into the upper 70s to maybe even 80 for the first half of the week.
Scattered rain chances look to return Tuesday as well. We'll continue to monitor this throughout the week.
