MANCHESTER, Ky. (WYMT) - A Clay County man is accused of driving under the influence on an ATV.

Clay County Sheriff's deputies responded to a crash with injuries Thursday. The crash happened between an ATV and a vehicle.

When deputies investigated, they learned the driver of the ATV, Sonny Hubbard, 29, was under the influence.

Hubbard told deputies that he took various illegal drugs earlier in the day, authorities said.

Deputies had to take Hubbard to Advent Health Manchester because he had a medical emergency during his arrest.

Hubbard was taken to the Clay County Detention Center. He faces charges for ATV violations, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to comply with helmet law.
