Attorney General Andy Beshear says this part of a campaign called "Stamp Out Mail Scams".
The signs are going up now because people will soon begin to mail Christmas gifts in the next few weeks.
Beshear also says his office works with other agencies like postal inspectors, to prevent people from being scammed.
Scams have increased over time and we must work better together, and with so many different organizations, to provide that level of protection that our citizens deserve," said Beshear.
Beshear's office says last year, postal inspectors removed more than one million lottery scam letters from the mail nationwide.
