Appalachian Wireless says network-wide issues for voice, text services resolved

Appalachian Wireless says the service issues customers have seen the past few days are fixed.
On its Facebook page, the mobile service said it has monitored its service for the past 12-15 hours.
If you noticed your Appalachian Wireless service having issues, you are not alone.
The mobile company posted on its Facebook page Wednesday evening warning customers about network-wide issues.
According to the post, the issues began around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Prepaid and Forward Pay voice, text messaging services and some voicemail services are the areas primarily affected.
"Our teams are working relentlessly to resolve these outages," Appalachian Wireless wrote in its post. "We are very aware of how serious this issue is and are taking every step to try to fix it as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing but thank you for your patience as we work to resolve."
