CLAY, Ky. (WYMT) - Appalachia Mentoring Project (AMP) will start in its third county soon.

On Saturday AMP hosted a training event in Clay County for people who are interested in helping with the programs as well as people who may want to become mentors for children in the area.

"I've seen a lot of kids who need someone in their life, a positive person to encourage them and love them," said Clay County's Core Team Leader Tabatha Wagers.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or donating to AMP you can call 606-910-3332.
