The death toll is now up to 44.
Kentucky has the largest hepatitis A outbreak in the country.
More than 4,200 people have gotten sick. Of those people, about half have gone to the hospital.
Other health issues can contribute to the high death toll.
In the latest numbers from the state, 21 counties reported new cases.
