LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - A United flight out of Bluegrass Airport was forced to turn back to Lexington Tuesday morning.

An official with United Express said a mechanical issue was to blame for the forced return.

The plane had just taken off for Houston when it had to turn back.

It landed safely back at Bluegrass Airport, and passengers were put on another plane.

No injuries were reported.
