HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - The Perry County Public Library is teaching people how to be adults.
The Adulting 101 course today focused on what library staff say are basic household skills. Participants learned things like how to cut a tomato and sew a button.
“Just little things that we take for granted in life. That we think, ‘oh, of course, everyone knows,’ but then you find out maybe not everyone knows what they need to do, when they get older,” says Jessica Chandler, Children’s You Services Librarian at the Perry County Public Library.
The Adulting 101 classes are going on for three consecutive weeks on Wednesdays at 11:00. Upcoming topics include credit and resumes.
