(WYMT) - Good morning! Today we start to see a few changes to the forecast.
Today and Tonight
Today we will see a mix of sun and clouds, along with a stray rain chance in the afternoon. As far as rain chances go, today will be a lot like yesterday. Highs will be a little bit cooler with highs in the low to mid-80s. Some spots could see the upper 80s depending on cloud cover. Clouds will clear out overnight which will allow temperatures to drop into the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Overall drier conditions continue into the end of the week with hopefully a little bit more rain by the new workweek.
Friday and Saturday look dry with plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s both days with overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
A weak front looks to arrive either by later Sunday night or Monday. Stray rain chances are likely late Sunday evening with more isolated chances on Monday. Some models have rain lingering into Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
Highs will remain right around the mid-80s with overnight lows in the lower 60s. Even with stray rain chances in the forecast, a portion of the mountains is under a moderate drought. We will continue to monitor those conditions over the next several days.
