3 indicted in Knox County rape, human trafficking case

CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - A grand jury indicted three people Friday in a human trafficking case.

Police said Tiffany Marie Cheek lured a 16-year-old girl out of her home in Corbin and into a U-Haul truck. Michael Scott Nason is accused of raping the teen in the truck.

When authorities found the girl locked inside the U-Haul truck in Cincinnati, they arrested Carl Bradley Hickman for drug-related charges.

Cheek, Nason and Hickman were all indicted for unlawful transaction with a minor by making her engage in sexual activity or illegal drugs.

Cheek was also indicted for kidnapping and custodial interference. Nason faces additional charges on two counts of third-degree rape. Hickman was also charged with persistent felony offender.
