2.8 magnitude earthquake hits near Kentucky-Tennessee border

FINCASTLE, Tenn. (WYMT) - The United States Geological Survey reported a 2.8 magnitude earthquake near the Kentucky-Tennessee border Wednesday.

The epicenter was about two miles away from Fincastle, Tennessee. It hit at 12:33 p.m.

The quake was about 21 miles away from Middlesboro, Kentucky.
