PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The 79th annual Paintsville Invitational Golf Tournament teed off early Saturday morning.
More than 100 hundred golfers grabbed their clubs for a beautiful weekend on the green.
Not only are locals competing in this well-known event, but several players drove in from surrounding states.
"The amount of out of town play that we get each and every year, it always seems to grow and so that brings a lot of business in the community which is always great," said Tournament Director Zach Meadows.
The final round of the tournament will finish up on Sunday evening.
