I was originally born in the United Kingdom, but I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Springtown, Texas before attending college at the University of North Texas in Denton where I got my bachelor's degree in journalism.
My mother worked in journalism for many years before I was born which is where I became interested in pursuing a career in it.
I moved to Hazard in the summer of 2019 and it is the farthest I have ever been from home, but I am enjoying life here in the mountains.
During my free time, I love to travel and visit places of historical significance as well as state and national parks.
Otherwise, I'm content to stay at home or go out with friends.
I enjoy being able to work as a producer here at WYMT and am happy to serve our viewers across Appalachia.
