Buc-ee’s made the official announcement Wednesday, after listing it on their website as a tentative date. It’ll mark the opening of the closest Buc-ee’s to Knoxville and the largest travel center in the world.
“Buc-ee’s Sevierville, located at ‘The 407,’ is nestled in the gateway to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and of course, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park,” said Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s. “We are thrilled to join such a beautiful community that has long-since been a destination for travelers from around the world.”
Buc-ee’s is also planning a grand opening at 11 a.m., with a soft opening at 6 a.m. That grand opening will include a ribbon cutting ceremony.
As for the travel center itself, it’ll include 120 fuel stations, snacks (including brisket and beaver nuggets), award-winning restrooms and a carwash coming soon.
At this time, Buc-ee’s has not released any information about a possible opening event.
