LEE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - As business owners across Appalachia have worked to clean up following historic flooding, some are left questioning what will happen next.

In Lee County on Friday, people experienced on and off rain. Several business owners were left uncertain whether all their hard work put in the past couple of months would be ruined.

Staff at Los Two Brothers say previous flooding resulted in equipment damage that they have worked to replace.

Waiter Indica Paguada says while they have some concerns about current conditions, they are doing their best to prepare.

“We’re keeping up with the weather and all that and the flooding advisory’s. We’d like to know ahead of time if it was to happen again that way we know we can at least try to salvage our stuff,” he said.

Paguada says they have worked hard to get the restaurant up and running again and hopes this bad weather subsides.
