Roadway cleared after overturned semi blocks I-75 southbound in Rockcastle County

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The roadway has been cleared and roads are back open after an overturned semi blocked Interstate 75.
Traffic on Interstate 75 southbound in Rockcastle County was delayed for several hours according to a Facebook post from the Rockcastle County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies say an overturned semi blocked all lanes on I-75 South near the 68-mile marker.
Kentucky State Police troopers told our sister station WKYT in Lexington that crews are working to clean up a large amount of coke that spilled out of an overturned semi.
KSP also added that a man was driving his car on I-75 southbound when he came to a near complete stop. The car slowing down caused the tractor-trailer to hit the car, causing it to overturn.
No injuries were reported, but traffic is being re-routed at exit 77 in Berea to US-25W south back to Mount Vernon.
