FDA issues warning about certain hand sanitizer products

(WYMT) - The FDA has issued another warning to avoid sanitizers that contain methanol, also known as wood alcohol, which health experts say substantial exposure to can cause nausea, headaches, and even blindness.

Since June the agency has recommended recalling dozens of products manufactured by various companies in Mexico.

Target and Walmart sold some of the products and they have since been recalled and pulled from shelves.
