HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Local State Farm agents delivered lunch to Christian Care Community workers in Corbin Thursday.

They fed 108 Christian Care Community employees. There are at least 60 cases of COVID-19 in the facility and five deaths.

Christian Care Communities CEO Mary Lynn Spalding said, “On behalf of our entire team we are so grateful to the folks at State Farm and the entire community for their ongoing support.”

She went on to add, “We do our very best to demonstrate Faith-Care-Family and during these challenging times we are grateful for our elders, their families, our staff, and this wonderful community.”

Michael Jones with State Farm added, “We are all happy to be able help the health care workers, they are the people in the community who are taking care of our parents and our grandparents here and we deeply appreciate what they are doing.”
