Matt Bevin held a news conference Friday to discuss his first year in office and look ahead to the 2017 legislative session, where Republicans will hold super majorities in both chambers for the first time.
Speaker Greg Stumbo created the committee in October to investigate claims by Democratic state Rep. Russ Meyer that Bevin canceled a transportation project in his district as punishment for refusing to switch parties.
Open enrollment for 2017 begins Tuesday. It will be the first time Kentuckians will use the federal website HealthCare.gov instead of Kynect, the state-operated health insurance exchange put in place by former Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear.
