Wildcats need to be improved for week 2

LEXINGTON, Ky (WYMT) - Kentucky Football plays host to in-state foe Eastern Kentucky University this Saturday.

The Colonels dropped their week one game against the Hilltoppers of WKU, but even though EKU took the loss in bowling green, this is a Colonel team that Kentucky Football head coach Mark Stoops thinks that will most definitely be a challenge.

Coach Stoops said, "I was very impressed with them. We're going to have to play much better. They're an improved football team and were very impressive on both sides of the ball. I was very impressed with the way they threw the football against a very good Western Kentucky team. We're going to need to improve and play better."

EKU only rushed for a net total of 25 yards but had 320 yards in the air with two touchdowns to go with it in the 31-17 loss to WKU in week one.
