LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A Whitley County woman faces several charges, including illegally using a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits card.
Police arrested Christy Stephens, 35, of Williamsburg Monday afternoon.
Police say Stephens shoplifted from the Wal-Mart in Corbin. When they took her to jail, they found a SNAP card that did not belong to her.
They say Stephens was also under the influence of alcohol and meth.
Stephens is booked in the Laurel County Detention Center and faces several charges, including shoplifting and DUI.
