(WYMT) - Temperatures will be more seasonal Thursday before warming to above average this weekend.
A cold front passed through Eastern Kentucky and it's high pressure for the next few days. This morning, you will notice it's not nearly as humid outside and even a little cool. Temperatures vary in the mid and upper 50s during the morning before warming to the upper 60s and low 70s this afternoon. Cloud cover hangs tough this morning, but that gradually clears throughout this afternoon. Overnight, we remain mostly clear as lows drop to the mid 50s.
We wrap up the work week on a beautiful note Friday! Sky cover remains minimal and highs vary in the upper 70s. For anyone going to a football game, the forecast shapes up nicely for that. Temperatures begin to dive into the lower 70s around kickoff and then venture into the lower 60s by the end of the games.
Saturday will be unseasonably warm with highs topping out around 80°. Sunshine will be ample and humidity will be kept in check. If you have any outdoor plans, it looks like a great day, just a little warmer. Come Sunday, a cold front moves in. This brings rain later in the day Sunday and also brings cooler weather. Temperatures quickly sink into the low 50s Sunday night.
Rain chances continue through the first half of Monday and highs only reach into the mid 60s. Sunshine eventually returns Tuesday and Wednesday. Both days will be cooler with highs in the mid and upper 60s.
