Refugee family gets home in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - An African family from the Congo is getting a home of their own in Lexington. The family moved to Lexington in 2012 and has since been moving between various refugee camps and rental properties.

The home will be built through a partnership between the Catholic Build Project and Habitat for Humanity. Friday, the home was blessed by the Catholic Church before the first wall was raised.
