ASHLAND, Ky. (WYMT) - Ashland Police officers made arrests in a cell phone theft ring, but are still looking for one suspect.
Police say the stolen phones are valued at more than $13,000.
APD responded to a call from Sprint to investigate employee Ryan Maynard.
Maynard admitted to stealing phones from the store's inventory and providing them to T.J. Sizemore to launder through The Phone Store in Ashland for a fraction of the cost.
The owner of The Phone Store, Ed Edwards, sold some of the phones over the internet, police said.
APD detectives recovered more than $10,000 of stolen merchandise. Edwards and Maynard were arrested.
T.J. Sizemore remains at large.
