BARBOURSVILLE, W. VA. (WSAZ) - A man from Barboursville is in Western Regional Jail, accused of sexual abuse.
West Virginia State Police say the abuse involves a female family member over a four-year period beginning when she was 7-years-old.
The investigation began in May when the victim, now housed at an alternative school in Ona, confided in employees that she had been sexually abused by Donald Moore between 2009 and 2013.
According to the complaint, in an interview with troopers, the victim accused Moore of performing sexual acts and groping her as she pretended to sleep while her mother was away at work.
The victim claims it happened on at least 10 occasions.
Moore is being held on a $100,000 bond.
