LESLIE CO., Ky. (WYMT) - Kentucky State Police say a man is dead Thursday after a crash on Monday.

The crash happened on the Hal Rogers Parkway around 8:00 a.m. Monday. It was near the 46-mile marker in Leslie County.

Police say a Honda CRV was driving east when it crossed the center line and sideswiped a Ford Ranger driven by Donald Jackson of Isom. The Honda then collided head-on with a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Sherry Miller of Big Creek.

The driver of the Honda, Bobby Morgan, 54, was thrown from the car after it overturned.

Miller, Jackson and Daisy Jackson, a passenger in Donald Jackson's car, were transported by ambulance to Hazard ARH Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Morgan was airlifted to Holston Valley Medical Center for treatment. Hospital staff says he died at 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning from his injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. They say Morgan was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
