JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Johnson County Middle School is adding another state championship trophy to their collection.
Last weekend the Johnson County Middle School boys wrestling team traveled to Louisville for the state championship.
Two members of the team took home first place individually and the team got first place overall in the school division.
Team members said winning gives all members a sense of accomplishment.
"It's awesome though, winning first, seeing your hand raised at the very end," Cameron Willis, Captain of the team, said. "It was awesome."
This is the schools' fourth state championship.
Members said they are looking forward to next year's season.
