Fire Marshals make arrests in Mingo County arson cases

MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The West Virginia State Fire Marshals Office have made two arrests in two different arson cases in Mingo County including one involving a former high school building.

Kevin Urban, 18, of Delbarton, is charged with 2nd-degree arson for setting a fire at the former Burch High School Library Annex.

Marshals say a juvenile male will also be charged in connection with the fire.

Urban was arrested on Oct. 5.

According to a release, Donovan Lester, 25, of Baisden has been arrested on arson charges after setting his double-wide mobile home on fire on Baisden Road back on March 8.

Lester is being held at the South Western Regional Jail.
