DEARBORN, MI. (WYMT) - Good news for truck lovers -- Ford announced it will resume production of its F-150 series beginning Friday.
The automaker stopped manufacturing the truck at two plants earlier in May after a fire broke out at a supplier's facility.
Ford said it worked with suppliers and other contractors to get the F-150 back online as quickly as possible.
Production will resume at Ford's Dearborn plant in Michigan on Friday.
A plant near Kansas City will restart its F-150 production later this month
