JACKSON, Ky. (WYMT) - One Breathitt County man died early Sunday morning after police say his wife shot him.

Kentucky State Police (KSP) officials say Sandra Hurt shot her husband, her son and another woman at their home off of KY 1098 on Cook Fork Road in Jackson.

Officials say they got the call just before 11 p.m. Saturday saying two gunshot victims were brought to the emergency room.

When police arrived at the house, they found one man dead with apparent gunshot wounds and a woman unresponsive.

Breathitt County Coroner George Griffith identified the victim as Henry Michael Hurt, 47.

Hurt's wife, Sandra Hurt, was found unresponsive at the house. She was admitted to ICU at Kentucky River Medical Center for treatment of undetermined medical issues.

Alex Hurt, Sandra Hurt's son, and Heather Sizemore both received single gunshot wounds to the chest. They were taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment. We do not know their conditions at this time.

Police say as of now, no charges have been filed against Sandra Hurt because of her medical condition. However, investigators expect to obtain an arrest warrant on Sandra Hurt for one count of Murder, two counts of Attempted Murder, and two counts of Wanton Endangerment.

Kentucky State Police officials will continue to investigate.
