FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The 35th annual Jenny Wiley Festival kicks off Wednesday night in Prestonsburg.
The festival features a carnival, local food vendors, and local arts and crafts.
For the first time, the festival will have a nine-hole putt-putt golf course.
The Kentucky Headhunters will perform at the festival.
"But we've gotten away from the commercial items we want to stay with local crafts, local artisans, local shops, we want to keep it local, I mean, Prestonsburg is a small town we are your hometown, that's what we want, we want everyone to feel that way," said Prestonsburg Mayor Les Stapleton.
The festival will also feature a car show this Saturday.
The festival runs Wednesday through Saturday.
