Connect With Me

During my free time I love to spend time with friends, hike, watch theater productions and explore the area.

I grew up in Adams County, OH in a small town called Manchester. In high school I participated in many sports and also performed in school musicals before graduating in 2012. From there I went on to Northern Kentucky University which is just seven miles outside of Cincinnati. I just graduated in May with a double major in Journalism and Electronic Media and Broadcasting.

At Northern Kentucky University I worked for The Northerner, which is an independent student newspaper. My experience there eventually allowed me to land an internship with the Kentucky Press Association at the Ledger Independent in Maysville, KY. Shortly after that, I made the switch to broadcast journalism after I landed an internship with WKRC-TV or Local 12 news in Cincinnati. I was then hired on as a production assistant where I worked in the studio and occasionally produced the 4:30 a.m. newscast. I also worked in radio as a promotions assistant at Q102 which plays top 40 music.

During my free time I love to spend time with friends, hike, watch theater productions and explore the area.

I have always loved watching the news and I never imagined that it would be my career. I am so happy to be part of the WYMT family and I cannot wait to meet everyone throughout the community. Please feel free to send me an email to say hello and as always, if you have story ideas feel free to email me those as well!
